Far Infra Red (FIR) ray made up of half of the energy emitted by the sun, the remaining is the visible energy. FIR is invisible but it is the heat that we feel from the sun energy. FIR can help to improve blood circulation in our body. How?
In 1960, NASA discovered that among the range of energy from the sun’s ray, FIR is the energy that promotes and sustains life. It was found that the energy vibration, the life force, vitality, qi or ki move in the same energy range as the FIR (5-25 micron).
When body cells are diseased or not functioning at its optimum, it lack in vital energy and become “cold”. FIR ray can penetrate up to 1.5 inches into the skin and “warm up” the cells causing the energy to revitalize and stimulates blood circulation.
Based on this concept and combining with ancient Japanese heat therapy, Dr. Tomeko Mitsui developed a FIR ceramic device in 1985 called the Mitsui Onnestu Therapy. For more than 30 years, FIR heat therapy has been widely used for medical treatment in Japan.
Other benefits of FIR heat energy therapy:
- Repair and regeneration of tissues and cells
- Warm and relax muscle, reducing spasm and pain
- Stimulate metabolic activity
- Improve the elimination of waste and detox
- Stimulate immune system
Such device is now readily available in various forms; blankets, lamps, hand-held device, knee wraps, clothing etc. You can also go to outlets where you can get hourly heat treatment.
I went to one at Wellness & Beauty Hub for stiff neck. I did a 30 mins of FIR heat treatment for my back and neck. I could feel some areas where the heat can be unbearable. This means that those areas are “cold” and are warming up by the FIR. My neck felt so much better after the treatment. I recommend you try it!
