In my earlier post Get Good Nutrition For Good Sex, I covered the key nutrients that will help you with sex drive and performance.

Now let’s look at the actual foods that give these nutrients:

1) Avocados and Tomatoes

They are excellent source of folic acid. Lycopene, the antioxidant in cooked tomatoes, helps to maintain prostate health.

2) Nuts

Nuts contain a high amount of arginine, the amino acid that is important for the synthesis of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide helps to increase blood flow to the penis, which is critical for erection.

3) Pumpkin seeds

Pumpkin seeds are a rich source of zinc, selenium and vitamin E. These nutrients are important boosting sex drive and hormone production.

4) Olive oil

Olive oil is rich in Omega-3, which helps to strengthen the blood vessel wall, enhancing blood flow.

5) Oysters

Oysters are known to be an aphrodisiac. Perhaps it is because of its rich source of zinc. But if you don’t eat oysters, alternative sources of zinc are seeds, dark chocolate and spinach. Zinc is important for the manufacturing of sperms.

6) Mango and peaches

They are high in Vitamin E and Vitamin C, which helps in increasing sperm count and arousal.

7) Banana

Banana contains a high level of potassium and Vitamin B complex giving a good source of energy. It contains bromelain enzyme, which increase the libido and reverse impotence of men.
