Step 1 – Drink plenty of water
The guideline should be 30 ml of water for every 1 kg of body weight. Every cell in the body needs the environment of water to function properly. It also needs water to flush off the metabolic waste products. When the body senses that there is not enough in-coming water, it does not release water and metabolic waste. This results in self intoxication.
Step 2 – Have daily bowel movements
Keep bowel movements to 1-2 times a day. The undigested wasted from what we eat everyday produce toxins as they are accumulated in the intestine. Increased transient time in the body would lead to the toxins being re-absorbed into the body.
Step 3 – Eat colorful fruits and vegetables
The WHO ( World Health Organization) recommends eating 7-8 portions of fruits and vegetables daily. Fruits and vegetables have a rich source of soluble and insoluble fiber, which are important to gut health.
Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, kale and cabbage contain nutrients that support liver detoxification enzyme. Onion and garlic have sulphur containing compound, which helps the liver to eliminate harmful heavy metals from the body.

Step 5 – Get enough sleep
The importance of getting sufficient sleep is often overlooked in our hectic lives. When we sleep at night, regeneration and repair happen. The body has a rhythmic system of repair and regeneration. For example, between 1 am to 3 am, liver detox and regeneration happens.
Step 6 – Avoid stimulants
Stimulants such as caffeine, nicotine and alcohol contribute to the toxin load in the body and put pressure on the body to detox and eliminate them.

Processed foods are loaded with additives such as colorings, flavour enhancer, preservatives, sugar, salt and trans fats to help in the manufacturing process and make them look and taste good. Step 9 – Reduce exposure to environment toxins

Step 10 – Take Chlorophyll
